Idrisi Cultura e Sviluppo is a partner of the project ECHO, acronimo di “Education for Environmental Sustainability: Creative Learning Centers and Digital Tools”, coordinated by Fondazione Pietro Barbaro, a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of Mediterranean culture and the sea, arts and culture, based in Palermo, Italy. The project also involves SEAL CYPRUS, a youth work center based in Nicosia, Cyprus, Association WalkTogether, a non-profit organization for youth based in Sofia, Bulgaria and Carraro Lab, a company that has been operating in the digital, multimedia, immersive sector since 1980, based in Palazzolo sull’Oglio, Italy.

The project "Echo"aims to build an architecture - material and digital - with a high educational impact, aimed at empowering and increasing the skills of a vast and stratified adult learner public in the field of Environmental Sustainability, leveraging the attractiveness of the medium creative, on the effectiveness of digital tools, as well as on the capacity of non-formal and informal education. The project therefore activates a participatory process, composing itself of mixed units, placing contemporary needs of a cultural and educational nature at the center. To achieve these goals, "Echo"involves international organizations expert in the field of environmental sustainability education, the production of innovative modules in support of the education, training and education sectors also through the formula of socio-cultural animation, also involving important organizations in the field of 'digital innovation and large-scale creative-cultural offer.

In the frame of ECHO, Idrisi Cultura e Sviluppo is the lead of the first project result, a research - digital action that outlines educational paths for environmental sustainability for educators, teachers, youth workers, including non-formal learning models and creative exercises.

The project has a three-year duration, started on February 1, 2022 and will end on January 31, 2025.
